  1. This was a helpful book in that a lot of stories of hope were shared. Mostly journeys of younger women, but they still brought me hope. . I am a senior, and i would say that the experiences of those still in their child bearing years. . made me think about other choices that we as women face.

  2. I bought this book to present to a cousin who was a cancer patient in the hospital, following a surgery to remove her ovaries which were found to be cancerous. She told me that this book was not only highly informational, but also very encouraging to her. She really appreciated recieving it as a gift – it was nice to get it and also a great relief to have something pertinent to read, since she had gotten tons of flower arrangements, etc !

  3. My mother died of ovarian cancer recently. This book is a concise description of the symptoms, how doctors attitudes need to change so that more women are diagnosed at earlier stages, how important the right caliber and kind of doctor is for a good prognosis, and it gives hope to those who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer or have loved ones who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer that they too have a chance to survive this disease through the wonderful short stories of each of the survives in the book. It is a short and very easy to read book that is packed with useful information. A must read if your life has been touched by ovarian cancer in any way.
